(A:-2) SHAIKH ABD AL-ḤAQQ AL-DEHLAWI AND HIS APPROACH TO SEERAH WRITING IN HIS BOOK‘‘MADARIJ-UL-NABUWWAH’’ الشیخ عبدالحق الدهلوی ومنهجه في کتابة السیرة النبویة من خلال کتاب ’’مدارج النبوة ودرجات الفتوة‘‘

Abstract

The research attempts to shed light on the effort of the great scholar, Sheikh ‘Abd al-Ḥaqq al-Dehlawi, in the Sirah al-Nabvia. The Sheikh al-Dehlawi is considered to be one of the great leaders of the noble Ḥadīth and sirah al-Nabvia in his era. He is the author of several books in Persian and Arabic languages. He continued to serve the scientific research of the Sirah al-Nabvia and its sciences throughout his life, as no one from the previous scholars in India was able to do the same, along with teaching and issuing legal opinions to people, with prominent scientific positions among scholars and researchers. Indisputably, he introduces new methodologies in the writing of Sirah al-Nabvia in the Indian subcontinent. Hence, the research will focus on his methodology in writing of ‘‘Madarij-ul-Nabuwwah’’an antique in Persian literature.
