Abstract

It should be noted that the authors and the writers try to compile their writings and compilations in such a way as to mention things that separate and distinguish their writing or compilation from other authors’ books. So, Imam Abu Dawud Sulaiman ibn al -Sha'asat has also compiled his book in a unique way, and there are some features in his book, which are not found in other books of Hadith. They are those, on which, Sunnah Abi Dawood is distinguished from other books. This research is based on the characteristics of Imam Abu Dawood's leading book Sunan Abi Daud, and other compilations of him with the mention of his teachers and scholars. In this writing, the characteristics of Imam Sahib's Sunan and the 3rd of this book are mentioned, and a few other prominent issues are introduced.
